Nissan Leaf is the next best top seller in Norway

Repost from Clean Technica | May 11, 2013

Nissan's Leaf is now Norway's second best seller EV;  the top position is occupied by VW golf.   Leaf used to be  7th best seller.   The removal of vat and allowing the use of the Leaf at the bus lanes enabled its brisk sales.  So far about 4,500 of these EVs have been sold since its debut 18 months ago.
The doubling of charging stations (from 100 to 200 also is an enabler of the sales)

Will EV be cheaper in the PHL?  Will VAT be abolished for EV? Will Leaf be sold at low price in RP?  Does RP want to lessen air pollution (please see my other blog site  air pollution kills) by introducing more EV cars. There are EV/hybrid buses that are being fielded as well as ADB's e trikes.

When will RP/DENR/DOE start making its move towards:

Reneweable energy

Lessening MM air pollution?
