A professor, colleague at a leading graduate school of business in MM, will be introducing me to the Sec of Energy of China. He arrived last Saturday for his master's degree. My colleague is mentoring the said China official for the master degree.
We would meet at noon time today at a Chinese restaurant in a CBD nearby. This was initially planned this PM, for merienda.
What would be the opportunities in this meeting?
l. Reliable, competitive suppliers from China
2. Endorsement from high level official
3. Travel/familiarization with alternative energy in China
4. Resources for large scale RE project, say in Mindanao? or even in Luzon grid (remember the outage last week - the reserve was so thin that there was a cascading effect when the Calaca power plant tripped)
Installing solar RE at homes can supplant large power plants?
