From GMA News April 4, 2013
The Iligan Power Plant will soon be operational according to Malacanang. It is projected to provide initially an additional 12 mW, to help alleviate the 200 mW or so power shortfall in the Mindanao grid. The diesel plant has a 98 mW capacity. The capacity is expected to reach 30 mW by October.
The plant was bidded by city of Iligan for failing to pay its real estate taxes. (Hmm the IPP tax incentives ended?)
Expect the output of this plant to cost much higher.
So the left hand and right hand of the public sector does not know what each is doing?
