We finally made it: our solar panels project in Holy Gardens Calamba was finally installed yesterday November 15 2013

Savings from oil and coal importation

Holy Gardens Calamba City, PHL  |  November 16, 2013.

Our solar panel installation at Holy Gardens Calamba City was finally installed yesterday by the AVG power system after months of waiting.  Reason, the rules of importation of solar panels was changed, there were hullabaloo at the BOC about rotation of collectors and the restraining orders.  We made the downpayment since August to the contractor/importer and we were very much worried.  We have developed other suppliers though

Our installation there is 3 kWp and is to save us about P3,000 a month in electrical power consumption

We intend to have it as show case and a model for installation of renewable cheap energy source for the rest of the HolyGardens Group

Results of our meeting with Jaaf Garcia, VP for Business Development of AVG Power system

Metro Manila |  May 14, 2013

We met today with Jaaf Garcia, VP for development of AVG Power Systems.  I met him as a guest in my entrep class.   I had energy as a business long time ago but was not fortunate enough to seize it.

Our entry point would be financing the acquisition of alternative energy system.  We would start inhouse  -  say our businesses consume a lot of electricity.   One such candidate's electric bill, that of Holy Gardens memorial park Calamba rose from P11t, P19t to P29t.  This was worrisome so that would be our start.

Jaaf initially quoted $4.00/watt price last month;  so he visited our site two weeks ago together with Eddie -  the head of our financing group.

We met today at Tiendensitas.  Jaaf was one hour early but we arrived on time at 3 pm.

Today, Jaaf gave us a whopping 20% discount and said he will provide us with an AC system in modules of 500 watts each for easy upgrading.  He quoted us a 3 kwP system costing P363,000.00.

The system would save us P5,000 in electricity bill a month, and pay for itself in 5 years, and generate a total of undiscounted cash flow of P1,300,000.

Wow!

Eddie thinks that he can have resort facilities in his home province his church as initial targets.

Why do we need to install solar panel (renewable energy) at enteprise level?

Rizal   Philippines   May 6, 2013

Our staff at Majorem Lending (our business unit wanting to finance purchase and ownership of solar panels) had a meeting with AVG Power system VP for Business Development Jaaf Garcia (the bf of my pamangkin beauty queen Pat Fernandez) at Calamba last Saturday.  They were to assess the feasibility of putting up solar panel for the Holy Gardens Calamba to augment power source for the irrigation system.

The electricity billls went up from P8t to P16t and now it is at P29t.  This really an urgent requirement?

Our electricity bill at the house stands at P10t per month.

Will solar panels be the solution?

Will we get discount from JAAF?
